- Jim Carrey has been married twice. In the '80s to Melissa Womer with whom he had one daughter. He later married actress Lauren Holly, but the couple divorced in 1997.
- He dropped out of school at 16.
- Jim always knew he wanted to be an entertainer, so he started soliciting early. He sent his resume to Carol Burnett when he was 10.
